writing my dissertation, researching digital media in respect to children's
literature/media, and teaching at UF and Samford University. Please
            see my homepage at Samford
            for more information.
My other areas of interest and research include children's video
games (particularly Nintendo platforms: Wii, GameCube and DS), children's
digital media, fairy tales, adaptations particularly revisionist
Fairy Tales, Trickster Tales, and The Three Little Pigs. If you
find any interesting tidbits on the above topics, feel free to send
              them my way via email.

Cathlena Martin, a PhD candidate at the University of Florida, researches
children's culture through literature, comics, film and new media.
Her dissertation work focuses on the changing nature of children's
literature and culture in a digital age through the convergence of
print and digital texts and media.
