I am currently working on a variety of projects including revising my
History of Games class to include game-based learning, editing an
article to submit to The Journal of Play on children's literature and
games, and waiting for my lastest book chapter on the impact of
table-top role-playing games on board and card games to be published
from McFarland Press.
My other areas of interest and research include board games,
particularly Spiel des Jahres winners, children's video games
(Nintendo platforms: particularly Wii U and 3DS), children's digital media,
fairy tales, particularly revisionist Fairy Tales, and adaptations, particularly adaptations
across media. If you find any interesting tidbits on the above topics,
feel free to send them my way via email.
